Filter cartridges or cassettes are conveniently accessible and easily replaced through the service door. FM filters have a wide range of additional equipment: integrated fans, telescopic support legs, service platforms, screens, and rotary valves.FMC200 cartridge filters are supplied for air flows of 1.000 to 20.000 m³/h. Efficient cleaning of filter cartridges is ensured by compressed air using the patented UniClean® system which provides optimum cleaning and long service life. Filters are suitable for small to medium dust loads (up to 5 g/m³). The FMC200 filter is extremely compact.
FMK25 cassette filters can treat air flows from 1.000 to 10.500 m³/h. Cleaning with compressed air allows the filter to be in operation for a long period without servicing. The filter cassettes have combined the efficiency of filter cartridges and the durability of the bag filters. FMK filters can be applied for small to medium dust loads (up to 20 g/m³). More than 10 different types of filter materials provide the ability to find the right solution in all cases, including wet or sticky dust.NF 3000 filters
The NF3000 is a compact filter suitable for virtually unlimited streams of highly polluted air (wood, grain dust, etc.). Filters are very efficient and save up to 40% of space compared to similar filters from other manufacturers. Filter bags are cleaned by means of reverse flow fans.
– The modular construction. NF3000 filter is assembled from a standard 1200×1200 mm module. The filter can be extended by adding additional modules. NF3000 filters can handle the air flows from 1.500 to 300.000 m³/h. Filter sleeve cleaned regenerative fan support.
– Less space, less weight. Due to improved design and technology, the filter takes up less space and is of smaller weight. Moreover, the filter is using less energy and ensures efficient filtration.
– Quick and easy installation. The filter assembly is a very simple and low cost of labor performed within a minimum time. If higher air volumes have to be treated, the filter can be extended by connecting additional modules.
– Energy-saving. A shape of filter housing provides high performance at low airspeeds. The features of patented SUPER BAG filtration bags also contribute to the fact that energy costs are minimal.Intake Pit Filters
Intake pit filters are bag filters designed for aspiration at intake dump pits of bulk material unloading from transport (truck, rail wagon). Filters are made of a 2 mm galvanized steel sheet. The modular design allows to the selection of the appropriate filter size and the filter area, depending on the application. Filter bags are cleaned by compressed air.

HYDROCYCLONES
Large passage liquid – solids cyclones offer a cost-effective solution for the removal of large amounts of course solids from high volume liquid streams found in the process industry. Due to the large passages inside the cyclone (the solids drain connection is the smallest of the cyclone process connections) plugging is virtually impossible. Unlike basket strainers and filters, cyclones are unaffected by the sudden releases of large amounts of solids. The differential pressure depends on the actual flow rate going through the cyclone. Therefore the differential pressure will remain unchanged if the cyclone is confronted with a ‘slug’ of solids. The solids will be removed and the cyclone will continue to operate without maintenance requirements.
Due to the reduction of the inlet size, the liquid is accelerated before entering the vessel. The accelerated liquid is forced to follow the vessel wall and consequently, the liquid will start to rotate at high speed in the vessel. Due to the high angle speed created by the shape of the vessel, the heavier solids particles are forced to the vessel wall. There the solids will start a spiral-shaped traveling path towards the solids drain of the cyclone. To assist the removal of the solids and to prevent solids to re-enter the liquid flow the lower part of the cylindrical vessel is provided with a cone. The cone will guide the solids towards the solids drain and due to the reducing diameter, the angle-speed remains high although the actual speed reduces. To overcome short interruptions of the drain flow the bottom part of the cyclone vessel allows for the storage of limited amounts of solids.
Usually, the hydrocyclones are combined in one unit with filter settlers. A typical application of hydrocyclones system is the removal of coke in an ethylene process unit. -
CLAY TREATERS
Clay treaters are usually placed upstream of a filter separator system to remove surface-active agents (surfactants), color, and additives from jet fuel. These unwanted contaminants may be present in fuel at the processing and refining levels or picked up from various transportation methods (trucks, ships, and pipelines that carry several types of petroleum products in addition to jet fuel). The contaminant compounds will accumulate and disarm the coalescer cartridge and reduce the water coalescing efficiency of the filter separator. Clay treaters provide a complete adsorptive system that removes the surfactant compounds, color, and additives and delivers treated fuel while also prolonging the cartridge life of the downstream filter separator.
The clay treaters may be used to remove soluble contaminants such as acids, waxes, gums, resins, asphaltenes, sludges, carbon residues, and colloidal particles from the lubricating, hydraulic, seal, quench, and insulating oils (in circuit breaker, transformers).
Clay treater elements can be supplied as bags or canisters. Canister elements are suitable for higher operating temperatures.

FUEL-MONITORS
In certain applications like aviation refueling, where the presence of water is causing danger due to freezing at high altitude, water-absorbing cartridges are used as a final treatment to assure that all water – including the chemically emulsified part – is removed from the fuel before it can cause danger. Since the water absorption capability is used as a safety device the water-absorbing cartridges are referred to as ‘Monitors’. Since fuels can hold large amounts of water the treatment in the fuel with monitors is restricted to the final stage only. In the rest of the chain, the fuel is normally treated with filter/water separators.
Fuel monitors are filter vessels equipped with absorptive elements that perform two jobs with one element. It absorbs water and removes solids reliably and efficiently. As the product stream flows from the outside of the element to the inside, the special water absorbent medium retains water, and the pleats expand. As the maximum water holding capacity is reached, there is a reduction inflow. The element slows, then stops the flow of the product as it reaches maximum capacity. This indicates that the element is ready to be changed, assuring you of a clean, dry product. -
COALESCER FILTER/WATER SEPARATORS
Two-stage coalescer filter/water separators are the primary defense against fuel contamination by water and dirt. Our coalescer separators provide a complete system that meets industry standards and individual levels of effluent purity required by commercial airlines, major oil companies, and governments.
The coalescer separator housings contain both first-stage coalescer and second-stage separator elements with no internal moving parts. Coalescer elements provide efficient and economical filtration and coalescence of fluids in a wide range of applications in industry and aviation. Our elements provide greater coalescing efficiency and contaminant holding capacity than most conventional coalescers or other separation techniques. As a result, our coalescers improve product quality, reduce maintenance costs and help prevent unscheduled shutdowns. Retention ratings are available from 1 to 40 microns.
The separator elements provide efficient separation of water in a wide range of fluid process streams. Separators are designed for passing fuel and oil and rejecting the large water droplets produced by coalescers. Both Teflon and synthetic separator elements can be cleaned and reused.
The product is pumped under pressure to flow through the housing inlet chamber and inside/out through the multi-media coalescer element. This specially developed multi-media element configuration traps and holds minute solid particles, while forcing small water droplets to commingle and grow into heavier, larger drops that fall by gravity to the housing sump area. The fuel continues to flow outside/in through the second-stage separator elements. These separator elements strip any remaining water droplets from the fuel allowing only clean, dry fuel to pass.
Vertical and horizontal housing designs are available with a wide selection of coalescer and separator elements to meet specific applications. Housings are designed for easy servicing and low maintenance with many standard and optional accessories and connections available to facilitate piping and installation requirements.
Our aviation coalescer separators have been tested and qualified to meet the performance requirements of API/EI Bulletin 1581, Fifth Edition.

INDUSTRIAL LIQUID FILTERS
For few decades ENEKA has been involved in the supply of advanced filtration and separation systems for oil refineries, the petrochemical industry, aviation, power generation, marine, and other industries. Our scope of supply is including industrial filters, two-stage coalescer separators, fuel monitors, oil/water separators, bilge water separators, and other systems designed to separate and treat fluids containing a mixture of water, hydrocarbons, and solids.
Filters
The filter is a device for the removal of solids from liquids or gases by flowing through a filter media that will retain the solids and allow only clean products to pass through. Hydrocarbon process and fuel filtration are usually employed to remove process contaminants, pipe-scale, transport contaminants, and improve the appearance and the acceptance of the product. A single pass of product through the system removes solids such as rust, dirt, scale, granules, and other particles commonly found in liquid process streams. Replaceable element-type filters have wide usage and can be used in almost any application. The two most important factors to consider when determining what kind of replaceable element type filters to use are (1) the concentration of the solids to be retained by the filter and (2) the required degree of filtration.
Our range of filters contains API/EI-approved filters for use in aviation/jet fuel applications. For certain applications filters are employed as pre-filter upstream of coalescers or filter/water separators to improve the lifetime (and reduce the operating cost) of the coalescing cartridges.
Our high-efficiency filter elements are constructed to meet the demanding requirements of the industrial filter market. For the filtration of fuels and hydrocarbon process streams, we can offer a wide range of filter elements. Our elements are all dimensionally interchangeable and both surface filters and depth filters are available. The filters offer nominal filtration and the filtration degree ranges from 0,5 micron.
Types of our filter elements:
• Pleated media filter elements,
• Pleated media CORELESS elements,
• Depth type filter elements,
• Wire mesh elements etc. -
